Some of New York's finest restaurants are popping up in Melbourne

A culinary clash of two great cities.

Treat yourself to some New York inspired fare this Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, as part of the MEL&NYC event.

There’ll be a heap of pop-up dining experiences, international collaborations and bespoke menus at restaurants like Atlas, Palermo and Mamasita, paying homage to the tastes of NYC.

Cult restaurants Momofuku Ko and The Four Horseman will be teaming up with local favourites Marion’s and Embla to celebrate the food and pop culture of the two cities – think waiters in white blazers, deli-style dishes and 1970’s steakhouses.

The program runs from July 27 to August 12, and coincides with MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art

Tickets go on sale Monday June 4 via Melbourne Food and Wine
