Oh easy...I'd run back home to my folks house - country Victoria. Fresh air, the dogs, the chooks, the river, the view. Good times.
I'm sticking to the answer I once gave as a six year old. I'd runaway with Princess Lea and go to Sovereign Hill. Granted, it did seem to make more sense back then...
Much like The Corrs, I would run away with you. And since they're Irish, I guess that means we'd go anywhere but Ireland.
I'd run away with Bruce Springsteen onto the highways jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive because tramps like us, baby we were born to run.
Id just run run run like the gingerbread man as fast as i can... away from work.. kids. chores... hubby LOL
I'd run away to anywhere with Ezra from Vampire Weekend and make little doe-eyed singing babies.
I could say something like I'd run away with my girl to a place far from here but reality is, and she knows it, is that I would run away with Angus Stone. Travel around in a Combi whilst comparing beards
As the girl of the young fellow who commented below (Matt Carroll), I would like to point out that although it is true that he would choose to follow Angus Stone around in a combi, he should have thought twice about the beard part before removing it on Saturday. I will therefore choose to go to far north QLD with Julia Stone and swim with the dolphins in order to keep her company while her brother goes walkabout with his beardless friend :)
I can't promise I'd be running, but as a girl of simple tastes, right now, at 2.40pm on a dull Monday afternoon, the corner of the Pinicle in North Fitzroy would be ideal. I would need to take some key friedns with me and would hope Midlake or the Middle East were on stage. After that and a jug or two of Coopers next to a roaring fire, I suppose a little run round the beer garden would be ok, all in the name of winning tickets of course.
Running away with my ex-girlfriend may seem like a weird choice, but I would run away with her back in time, and assuming the Doc's calculations were correct and the Clocktower played its part, we would flash back to N7, Holloway Rd, London and I would break up with her just before I made a horrible decision to pack up my life and move back to Melbourne only to brake up the week I signed a lease in a suburb of her choice. Then upon happily visiting Melbourne I would run to The Corner and swill Coopers Pale while shaking my ass to what DNA will prove to be Abba's British love children. Not bitter, just bitten.
