New arts venue to launch in November.

A warehouse space in Kensington has almost finished its refurbishment and will be set to launch as a thriving new art space and venue on November 6.

The Younghusband Factory has been undergoing work for a year so it can be transformed into a multi-platform venue. Ryan Hodge, Tim Fulton and Steven Hodge officially formed Revolt Productions in 2009 to bring to life their dream of many years.

After hailstorms earlier this year set the opening of Revolt Melbourne back a few months, the venue is set to welcome patrons, provide freedom "for the creatively different" and celebrate all forms of art. The new space offers an large main stage with full sound and lighting systems, a  cafe, and art gallery, a cabaret theatrette, a cinema and a photography studio, offering artists and creatives enormous scope for their various and diverse projects.

We look forward to seeing what these guys can do. Check out their website here.
