Plump DJs Return
When London-based producers Lee Rous and Andy Gardner first met back in the late nineties and decided to start working together on producing music and DJing as the Plump DJs, they took their name from a top-shelf girlie mag – and the resulting breakbeats that the duo released was equally as filthy.
Unanimously considered pioneers of the genre, the duo have since released four of their own studio albums, compilations for Fabric and Global Underground, .and remixed tunes for figures such as Orbital, Deadmau5, and the Stanton Warriors. These days, they’ve expanded their musical palette to include a driving mix of electro, house and bass music and are no strangers to kicking out the jams for the benefit of Australian crowds. Welcome back, boys!
The Plump DJs play Billboard on Friday January 27.
