A Party For Everyday People

Music News

Two of Melbourne’s most beloved arts collectives, Alberts Basement and Spill Collective, bring you the one-day music festival Everyday People showcasing subversive Melbourne superstars of alternative/experimental music, visual and performance art.

Headlining the day will be beefcake balladeer Guy Blackman and jungle dance darlings Rat vs Possum alongside pals Always, Heavy Mental, Keith! Party, Owl + Moth, Flying Scribble, Space Cactus, He Said She Said, Scout! Scout!, loveletting and the weeping hearts plus a whole lot more including performances by Spill Collective (whose parties have proven to be more than a little difficult to get into at times) and tunes spun by the likes of Grouse DJs Whisky Business and Ann Ominous (Macromantics).

Everyday People is on at the Penny Black Saturday February 6 from 2pm and cost only a small $16 (plus bf) from the Midsumma homepage with tickets available on the door if not sold out before.

And there'll be a BBQ.  Super Rad.
