Folk-rock singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright is coming to Melbourne to give us a taste of one of France’s most popular singers, Edith Piaf.
Working closely with American music producer, Hal Willner, Martha Wainwright has created something unique with an amazing live recording of rare Piaf songs.
And to all you fans out there who positively swoon over ballads, she will be recreating this recording with performances in Melbourne in next year.
Wainwright gives us her own take on accalaimed Edith Piaf songs, while also treating us to some of her own talented song writing.
Martha Wainwright will be performing at the Melbourne Recital Centre Thursday March 3.
