M-Phazes Goes Gully (Platoon)

Music News

Yeah, we know, we've been talking up the M-Phazes album, Good Gracious, a lot in recent weeks. It's totally justified though. The Melbourne producer's debut album has been hugely anticipated and features a who's who of local MCs – Pegz, Phrase, Spit Syndicate, Bliss N Eso, Mantra, Muph, Nfa, etc, etc. The LP debuted at #20 on the ARIA charts and has won critical acclaim from everyone who's taken the time to review it. Basically, it's the business. And it now has an official launch party.

M-Phazes and Gully Platoon are launching their respective albums, Good Gracious and The Great Divide, at the the Espy, Sat March 27. Oh, and they've invited all their friends down for some impromptu performances. With Drapht, Phrase, Muph w/ Candice Monique, Pegz, Illy, Delta, Dialectrix, Nine High, Mantra, 13th Son, Saraya and Vida-Sunshyne on the bill, this is one of the biggest hip hop line-ups Australia has seen in years. Oh, and the tickets are only $25. Bargain.

M-Phazes, Gully Platoon plus everyone, ever, play the Espy Sat March 27.
