Laura Imbruglia Confirmed To Support Eels

With Eels' show at the Palace Theatre on August 15 swiftly approaching, they've announced that Sydney-based singer-songwriter Laura Imbruglia will support them in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. It's been pretty busy recently for Laura, who has released her sophomore album The Lighter Side Of... and the very popular video for I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend which pushed Justin Bieber off the Myspace video charts.

But the real treat is Eels, who will probably surprise everyone again with a show where they'll get to play new material from their last three albums all released in the past year - Hombre Lobo, End Times and Tomorrow Morning. With his gravelly voice and big bushy beard, E is sure to please, and you can check him, his band and Laura out at The Palace on August 15, tickets on sale now through Ticketek.
