Since discovering the world of electro and hip-hop sounds early in the nineties, he started his own record shop and quickly developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of dance music that he continues to utilise to maximum effect today – his first big break arriving when none other than Fatboy Slim stumbled upon a dubplate he’d cut and took him under his wing during this time. It was only until 2006 his debut album on his own label Against the Grain was released – a breath of fresh air inspired by the upbeat sounds of breaks, electro, dubstep, drum and bass and hip hop.
