It's Cream Time
Music News
After years of rumours and a well-publicised false start in 2008, the world's biggest dance music festival, Creamfields, is finally headed down under to bring the noise.
Renowned for star-spangled lineups and multiple stages/arenas run by the planet's biggest dance brands (including the likes of Cream, Defected, Subliminal and DJ Mag), Creamfields is a two-day festival phenomenon in the UK. That being said, it's also made its way to a number of outher countries including Argentina where it is one of the South American nation's highlights on the clubbing calandar.
Will we get a two day event here in Australia? Who knows. All we can confirm at this stage is that the festival will be run by Hardware and Onelove (the partnership responisble for the hugely popular national Stereosonic festival) and that it will tour the continent between May 1st and May 8th.
Naturally, lineup rumours have already started flowing. Amidst the deluge of suggestions in forums and on social media sites,German Trance legend Paul Van Dyk's name is looking definite.
Stay tuned to beat.com.au for more info about Creamfields Australia as it comes to light.
