The Hold Steady For Golden Plains

Ahead of the line up announcement on Thursday, US rockers The Hold Steady have leaked through their website that they will be joining the 2011 Golden Plains party.
 
The Brooklyn group boisterous bar-band antics which they last showcased in Australia at the 2008 Laneway Festival. Showcasing tracks off their new album Heaven is Whenever, it's a welcome first addition to the line up. Also rumoured for the festival are Wavves, Best Coast and Os Mutantes.
 
The Hold Steady played the Golden Plains Festival which will take place at Meredith on March 12 to 14.
