It has been nearly twenty-five years since The Lemonheads formed and the time has come for frontman Evan Dando to step out and do a solo, acoustic only performance.

In 1986, The Lemonheads formed as a high school band and in a short time recorded their first album, Laughing All the Way to the Cleaners. Their popularity grew in the early nineties as their brand of punk rock caught on. Over time, the band members have changed, but the one consistency was Evan Dando.

On Sunday 12 December, Evan will appear at the Northcote Social Club with only his guitar as back up. He will be playing songs off his solo album Baby I’m Bored, but he will also be indulging in some healthy nostalgia with some Lemonheads covers including, It’s a Shame About Ray, My Drug Buddy, If I Could Talk I’d Tell You and Big Gay Heart.

A not to be missed performance, Evan Dando will whisk you back to the 1980s and make you wonder why you ever left.
