The Comedy Of Errors

Shakespeare’s much loved comedic play The Comedy Of Errors is a joyful journey of the chaos and confusion. With not one, but two sets of identical twins at the centre of this play, the play takes audiences on a rollercoaster day of mistaken identity that leads to seduction, arrest, infidelity, beatings, theft and general all round madness, and ends (of course) in resolving and reuniting all concerned.

The Australian Shakespeare Company presents The Comedy Of Errors at The Athenaeum Theatre Thursday July 15 to Sunday August 1. To win one of two double passes to the show on Tuesday July 20 at 7pm, tells us in the comments box below about your own comedy of errors (ie. a funny incident where you got muddled up).

Don't forget to include your full name.

There was that strange incident where I, Duke of Orsino, found myself strangely attracted to a pageboy, but it was all okay because he turned out to be a she in disguise. It was really similar to that thing I saw once, y'know, the Crying Game.

My feet are always getting muddled, and I am constantly tripping over. A constant source of amusement to my friends. Once I decided to take a photo on the move of my mates, so i started walking backwards ...ended up falling down a flight of stairs ...OUCH!
