Colour of Sound Returns to Melbourne
A sanctuary for the like-minded souls of electronic music and enlightened spirits, Colour of Sound is set to return – bringing its artistic haven back to Melbournian audiences.
Fusing together the worlds of arts and dance music, UK-based Hedflux will be headlining, a refined and decidedly danceable synthesis of chunky tech-funk and psychedelic tendencies pared back with rolling grooves, deep baselines and an undeniable energy – a mix of influences that have found him resting comfortably in Beatport’s Top Ten charts on a regular basis and managing to grab the title of Breakspoll’s best track of 2011. New Zealand’s Grouch is also set to join with an intoxicating take on experimental psychedelic dub, down-tempo and breaks, along with plenty of hot local talent.
Colour of Sound takes place at an as-yet unannounced venue on Friday February 25.
