Belle & Sebastian Tour Melbourne in 2011

Cutesy wootsy indie pop band from Glasgow, Belle & Sebastian are following the international artist bandwagon down to Australia in March 2011.

Brought to you by…the strong Australian dollar (and Michael Coppel)!

B&S will be performing their latest song creations from their wistful pop album Write About Love.
The tour has been in the planning for some time now, as the then 12-piece band has missed our secluded island since its last performance nearly 5 years ago.
After whisking over for a two-stop tour in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, the Scottish band will head over to Brisbane’s Tivoli on Monday March 7 and then The Forum in Melbourne on Saturday March 12, 2011.

B&S are widely known for their adorably quirky radio hits, Tiger Milk in 1996, If you’re Feeling Sinister, The Boy With An Arab Strap, Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant and (my personal favourite) Dear Catastrophe Waitress in 2003… and many more!
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys getting paralysed by cuteness at a gig, then this show’s one to go to.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday December 2 and are sure to sell like hotcakes. Get ‘em quick!
