Q-bar Closed Down

Melbourne's iconic Q-bar has closed its doors today.
 
It was open for over a decade and it's the end of an era. Beat has been told that the block on the corner of Chapel Street and Toorak Road will be used for residential development next year.
 
The possibility of the space being used for events in the interim is still open, however Q-bar as we know it is officially no longer.
 
Their regular Indecent Fridays and Summer Of Love Saturdays were clubbers' favourites, and recently the Potbelleez played there.
