Special EventUpfront, the festival’s showcase of women in comedy  is held tonight at the Town Hall. Geraldine Quinn‘s band Spandex Ballet will host the evening with guests including Mel ButtleCelia Pacquola, and Miss Itchy to name a few. 7.30pm, tickets from Ticketmaster.

The (very) Big Laugh Out is on again at the City Square Pitch today. See Yo-Yo People at 12.30pm, Ong-als in Babbling Comedy at 1.30pm, and OzStar Airlines at 3pm. Entry for all is free.

Free: Improv troupe The Improv Conspiracoffers a special free show tonight. Harold Night, the group’s Chicago-style improv showcase at 7:30pm tonight at the Dan O’Connell Hotel in Carlton, and entry won’t cost you a cent.

Aunty Donna will conduct a final walking tour from the Town Hall to their venue at Trades Hall. Get your tickets for Aunty Donna’s World’s Greatest Showbag from Ticketmaster, then meet at the corner of Swanston and Collins Streets at 8.30pm tonight for the tour.
