Noisey Mountain @ Where?House

Melbourne Music Week kicked a few goals this year, but perhaps none so impressive as the Where?House hub space in The Argus building. Transforming the gutted structure and turning it, temporarily, into one of the best venues in the city was a stroke of genius, and tonight, for the Vice and To and Fro (Sugar Mountain)-presented Noisey Mountain, it’s the perfect enclosure for the acid-blasted, lo-... It’s been the better part of a decade since Ben Sims was last in Australia. Little did he know upon his last visit, he left with the handle “Ben the Butcher”. It was set of “sonic ultra-violence” as described by one Melbourne punter that earned him the honorific title. “I might have grown up a little bit since then. I might not be smashing it too ‘ard now,” Ben Sims says in his thickset cockney... Read More

Define your genre in five words or less: Love dancing. What do you love about making music? It’s a joyous thing.
