Web conference, but make it cute.
With most people working from home, web conferences have become the new normal for a lot of businesses. People are even flocking to Zoom to have virtual game nights or just good old fashioned catch-ups with their mates.
By now, you’ve probably tired of the stock backgrounds available through Zoom – pretending to be on a white-sand beach is actually just painful at this point in lockdown – so Studio Ghibli have released a bunch of animated backgrounds to spice up your web conferences.
There are currently 16 options available, including scenes from Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke, with the studio set to add more to the collection. And the best part? They are all free to download, provided they are only used for office meetings and virtual chats and not commercial or advertising purposes.
