Things are pretty busy for the Fat Freddy’s Drop guys right now, with a new album and world tour to fit in between their familial duties. Trumpet player Scott ‘Chopper Reedz’ Towers is helping his young son in and out of the shower between juggling interview duties for Fat Freddy’s, which is “fairly typical” for the band these days, he say. They’ve been going for a while and they’re all a bit...

Emerging from LA with a scuzzy and sludgy brand of filthy blues rock, guitarist Lindsey Troy and drummer Julie Edwards have gone on to tour extensively across the globe as Deap Vally – including an Australian debut at the start of the year. Turns out that visit was but a tease for their swift return, which will see the band grace Splendour In The Grass as well as peripheral headline shows....

After taking a splendid, orchestra-backed tour to Australia's capital cities earlier in the year, lauded singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko has announced a run of regional dates surrounding an appearance at Splendour In The Grass.

Check out the kinda-NSFW clip for Part Of Me above.

The list of Victorian tour dates reads as follows:

The past year has seen a meteoric rise for Robert Delong. The young Los Angeles-based producer had a hit with his manic, percussion-heavy trackGlobal Concepts, and followed it up with an acclaimed debut album, Just Movement. The album takes in an array of styles, sounds and textures, from house to moombahton, all of them held together by Delong’s signature raggedy vocals.
