It’s been a long time coming.

Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon has revealed she’ll be releasing her first-ever solo album later this year.

The album, titled No Home Record, will feature nine tracks, produced by Justin Raisen (Angel Olsen, Yves Tumor, John Cale, Charli XCX), including 2016 single ‘Murdered Out’.

Recorded at Sphere Ranch in Los Angeles, No Home Record will touch on Gordon’s early days as a musician in the ’80s, when she relied solely on a guitar, drum machine and some lyrics from a magazine advertisement.

To keep the anticipation buzzing in the meantime, Gordon has released a music video for one of the tracks off the forthcoming LP, ‘Sketch Artist’. The clip features cameos from Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson and Gordon’s very own pooch.

Check out the music video for ‘Sketch Artist’ below:

No Home Record arrives Sunday October 13 via Matador Records.
