Melbourne quartet Sleep Decade has finally put their dream pop tunes into something tangible with the release of their debut album Into Spinning Lights.


The album was recorded in between “eating tim tams, surfing glennies and kicking the footy” at A Pocket Full Of Stones Studios in point Lonsdale, with the help of producer Nick Huggins.

Melbourne trio Pony Face are finally announcing the release of their second album Hypnotised.


Described as “a sonic kaleidoscope encompassing sweeping guitars, deep roomy drums, bass lines moulded from rock bottom and textural layers,” Hypnotised was produced by Casey Rice, who has worked with such acts as The Dirty Three, Tortoise and Liz Phair.

Sydney singer-song writer Bertie Blackman has pushed by the release of her fourth album Pope Innocent X, the follow-up to 2009’s acclaimed Secrets and Lies.


Originally set for release Friday August 24, Pope Innocent X will now be out Friday October 12. Blackman also had to cancel an album preview show at the Corner Hotel back in July due to a bought of tonsillitis, though...
