MICF comedians offer discounted tickets, draw attention to workplace inequality for International Women’s Day

Punters who books tickets to see Yianni Agisilaou’s The UnPinchable Pink Pen, Tessa Water’s Fully Sik, the Fringe Wives Club’s show Glittery Clittery – A ConSENSUAL Party or Frehd the Clowns’ Stripped Bare between 1am Wednesday March 8 and 10am Thursday March 9 with the codeword ‘stepitup’ will receive a 16.2% discount ­– the same size as thee national gender wage gap.

The group initiative was instigated by Agisilaou and his MICF featured show – a comedic take on gender roles. He received a five-star review at Adelaide Fringe for his other show The Simpsons Taught Me Everything I Know while The UnPinchable Pink Pen was nominated Best Comedy at Perth’s Fringe World Festival in January. Agisilaou and Waters recorded a video message explaining the importance of the cause.
