'The Good Times Tour' is set to hit Melbourne's own Palais Theatre on September 16.

The British-Iranian, multi-award winning stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer Omid Djalili is bringing his The Good Times tour to Australian shores this September. Right off the back of his sell-out UK and global tour that saw him performing a whopping 250 shows, he’s known for his powerhouse stand up sets that have been perfected over an illustrious 25 year career. Catch him in Melbourne at Palais Theatre on September 16.

With a comedy career beginning in 1995 with his performance of his Edinburgh Festival Fringe show Short, Fat Kebab Shop Owner’s Son, Omid Djalili has had an illustrious career spanning over 25 years.

A powerhouse performer of stand-up comedy, Omid Djalili is known for his appearances in film as much as he is for his comedy. Having appeared in the recent smash hit Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, the Golden Globe and Oscar nominated Shaun the Sheep Movie, as well as Sex and The City 2, The Mummy and The Infidel. 

Some of Omid Djalili’s notable works include a documentary on the 800-city anti-war demonstration in 2003. His live show Iraq and Out Loud was nominated for the prestigious Panel Prize at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. He also appeared on the Graham Norton Show alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Cuba Golding Jr. in 2012 and he now presents the ITV daytime quiz show, Winning Combination.
