Frankenbok will treat Melbourne to their raucous brand of heavy metal when they play a special show next month.


The metal veterans will be joined by Moustache Ant, Enter Reality and Bury the Fallen.

Last month Melbourne metal band Frankenbok led fellow heavy-rock bands King Parrot, Heaven The Axe, Abreact and Dreadnaught on one of the most tenacious regional tours ever attempted. The Regional Roulette tour took to Ballarat, Castlemaine, Mildura, Frankston, Traralgon, Bendigo, Shepparton and Wagga Wagga and each night the lineup was chosen by chance, not the seniority of the bands.

Melbourne heavy metal band Frankenbok have announced a series of Victorian shows, including rural dates in Frankston, Bendigo and Ballarat.


Frankenbok only just released their fifth album The End Of All You Know 2011, with this year marking the band's 15th birthday.

This is pretty brutal thrash metal from Melbourne. Primitive, raw and completely in your face, just the way many people like it. To say Frankenbok have become a stalwart on the Aussie metal scene is like saying the Geelong footy club have had a reasonable last four or five years in the AFL.
