How is it possible there hasn't been a band called Wolves before now? This Perth collective live up to the name, playing a gothic-tinged kind of indie rock complete with frantic notes from an electric violin and camp vocals by singer Adam Burford. A stormy brew of post-rock melodica from Perth’s Wolves at the Door, full of earnest, rumbling drama. Not enough sharp edges for my liking. The song swells and balloons portentously, but the inevitable swoop is a little soft. A song like this should make your stomach drop. Read More
