To support the album’s release, Sahara is set to embark on a national headline tour from February to March 2024. Cult Artists and Secret Sounds Artist Management are proud to present this tour, which will kick off in Ipswich on 9th February before moving on to Brisbane, Maroochydore, Sydney, Wollongong, Belgrave, Melbourne, and Castlemaine.

Collaborating with ARIA Award-winning Producer/Engineer/Songwriter Kon Kersting (known for his work with Tones And I, The Jungle Giants, Milky Chance, and Spacey Jane), Sahara Beck has crafted her most raw and vulnerable collection of songs to date. This musical odyssey delves into the complexities of the human condition, showcasing her ability to switch seamlessly between contrasting vocal techniques and agile musical compositions.

Reflecting on the album, Sahara herself mused, “When I reflect on this record, I’m reminded of how much writing I’ve actually done across the years, the amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of writing with and the experiences and places that were all part of it.” The songs on this album, including recent releases Hard To Tell, Thinking Twice, and Hunter, have been carefully curated to fit together and offer an authentic journey through the ups and downs of human emotion.

Drawing inspiration from Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotion, each track on All Attention On Your Emotions embodies a unique emotional character, from envy and jealousy to heartbreak, love, admiration, and hope. This album takes listeners on a psychological rollercoaster, dissecting the various shades of light and dark experienced by people worldwide.

Sahara Beck’s evolution as an artist is evident in this new release, which she describes as a testament to her relentless pursuit of self-discovery. She shares, “At the beginning of writing this album, I felt like a very loud person with lots to say, and so perhaps production-wise and vocally, you can hear that. But now, after all of this writing and reflection, I realise that I still have so much to learn and so much listening and watching to do.”

As a songwriter, Sahara Beck has received multiple accolades and international recognition, co-writing and featuring on tracks with artists such as Grammy winner Purple Disco Machine, ARIA club chart Queen Mell Hall, Toby Romeo, and Mellowdy.

She was a finalist in the 2022 International Songwriting Competition and the Nashville-based Unsigned Find Comp. In 2019, she placed third in the prestigious Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition. Sahara has also received numerous QLD Music Awards and prestigious honours, including the Carol Lloyd Award in 2020 and the esteemed Grant McLennan Fellowship in 2023.

Known for her magnetic stage presence and unparalleled showmanship, Sahara Beck has graced illustrious venues and festivals across the globe, captivating audiences at Glastonbury Festival, the renowned Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, and events like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Perth Fringeworld, Woodford Folk Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Blues Festival Byron Bay, Falls Music & Arts Festival, and more.

She has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists such as Bishop Briggs, The Rubens, Kim Churchill, Ball Park Music, Ocean Alley, and Paul Kelly.

With the release of All Attention On Your Emotions, Sahara Beck is set to elevate her career to new heights and cement her status as one of Australia’s most exciting and eclectic artists.

More dates and locations are still to be announced, and tickets for the tour will go on sale at 7 am AEST on Wednesday, 1st November via Sahara’s website.
