Yet another Australian band that would be Phoenix. Time & Place is a cute song – an ode to mechanical engineer / genius Nikola Tesla – but it’ so horribly derivative it makes me want to cry. The curt guitar notes, almost-disco rhythm, airy break and call/response chorus – all way too familiar. Read More
