Marketing and Box Office Supervisor At Red Stitch Actors Theatre

Core duties include:

– Check phone and email messages from box office, respond to patrons’ requests and process phone, email and over the counter bookings
– Process and new subscriptions, donations and other payments including script assessments and workshop payments
– Coordinate FOH Managers and Ensemble rosters
– Reconcile box office takings including subscriptions so that the figures entered in MYOB correspond to sales and tally with bank records and cash/ cheques received
– Reconcile bar takings so that the figures entered in MYOB correspond to sales and tally with bank records and cash/ cheques received
– Keep up to date with Seat Advisor (ticketing software) updates and reports
– Build subscriptions and individual plays as required in ticketing software and show information including posting current reviews on the website
– Ensure good working knowledge of current plays and productions
– Manage, organise and oversee events such as opening night, season launches, 500 Club initiatives, Red Stitch Writers readings, Subscriber nights, fundraisers, etc within budgetary parameters
– Create, manage and tracking the efficacy of promotions relating to subscriptions or ticket sales and growth of target markets
– Develop partnerships with other venues within a marketing and promotions capacity in conversation with the Artistic Director and Operations Manager.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the theatre sector, an ability to flourish within a collaborative environment and a strong box office and marketing skill set.
