Featuring three members of English progressive rock outfit King Crimson, The Crimson ProjeKCt has announced that it will embark on a series of tour dates this January.


The nearly three hour show will showcase side projects Stick Men and The Adrian Belew Power Trio's material and will conclude with both trios coming together for over an hour of all things King Crimson.

This awesome tune from the debut Pond album opens with organs and spirals into a psych trip, a loose seventies-flavoured prog excursion with heavy vocal delay and a warped, anthemic chorus.

Take an already excellent genre, add a few new ingredients to shake things up a bit and you could be onto a winning formula. A classic, with a twist. Sun God Replica's debut album Primitive Clockwork is just that. ‘70s rock a la Black Sabbath/ Blue Cheer with harmonised pop choruses reminiscent of early ‘90s indie rock greats.

Opeth have always been known for their progressive death metal sound – complex riffage, growly death vocals and heavy, heavy guitars. So it comes as a huge surprise that although there are progressive riffs aplenty, both the death and the metal have been stripped from Opeth's sound on Heritage.

Our band is called A Lonely Crowd and I play guitar and compose a lot of the music.


Bearing the terrible clichéd nature of this question, what do you reckon people will say you sound like?
