Cannibal Corpse Tour

After three long torturous years, death metals titanic kings Cannibal Corpse are returning to Australia for a sarcophagic frenzy of sordid and demented proportions. Their new ceaselessly hostile album release Torture, proves that when it comes to combining unrestrained maliciousness, involved song writing and technical precision, they still have no equal. The band's 12th full-length... Read More

Who Killed John Bearington III

A nice addition to shake-up the MICF stand-up scene, Who Killed John Bearington III is a theatrical ‘whodunnit?’ spoof, consisting of a cast of five puppets and one human – Detective Cole Feltz (played by Dylan Cole). The show’s premise is unspectacular, but it’s the delivery that makes it enjoyable, as well as Cole’s impressive effort at holding things together – talking to a bunch... Read More

Alright everyone move back a bit, it's getting crowded around here. According to our mate Google, the planet is approaching a population of seven billion human people persons. Seven billion and on the rise. That means we're chewing up Earth's resources faster than a hipster cleans out an Op Shop. Scary. Earth is a sinking ship. The speed of that sinking is the topic of constant debate. It... Read More

Final Destination 5

This fifth film in the successful Final Destination series brings the franchise full circle. It is one of the best films in the series as well. The film follows the usual formula, in which a group of people cheat death by surviving a spectacular accident, but then find themselves falling victim to gory accidents. Scriptwriter Eric Heisserer has scripted the remakes of A nightmare On Elm Street... Read More

Vents : Marked For Death

As more time passes Vents Uno becomes more agitated with society and all the bullshit that it has to offer. A few years on from his brilliant debut the follow up has a lot of pressure to succeed from a loyal fan base and I’m sure from the artist himself. This release slams from start to end and should see Vents elevate himself to one of the bigger names in Australian music, perhaps not Hoods... Read More

“I hope that the films I make might often be quite challenging - although some might not be quite as confrontational as this - but hopefully they will always get people to think and engage with the world and their own life in a way that is enriching. And that is why I like to make films,” emerging young Madeleine Parry says about her short documentary Murder Mouth. Parry has been making short... Read More
