Virtuoso guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd has announced he’ll be returning to Australia in October for an east coast tour, marking his first run Down Under in six years.
The Louisiana-born songsmith burst onto the scene at just 16 years old, after he signed his first record deal and released his 1995 debut album Ledbetter Heights.
Famed for shining a light on the rich blues of the past and adding his own modern twist, Shepherd has forged a mammoth career that spans more than two decades. His latest studio album Lay It On Down dropped in August 2017 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that Shepherd is a legend of his craft.
