Pack your bags, kiss your mum goodbye and hop on the bus because it’s time for Summer Camp! Well, almost.
The queer music, arts and community festival has announced its second annual event, set to take over stages in Melbourne and Sydney this December.

Following a dazzling launch in 2022 that saw the festival bring in sensational performers including Years & Years, Big Freedia, Sophie Ellis Baxter and The Veronicas, Summer Camp has unveiled the dates for this year’s event as well as a few of the big names.
Popstar Jessie Ware will be leading the charge with her first performance on Australian soil in over a decade. The English disco queen and loyal queer ally will be touring on the back of her most recent album, That! Feels! Good!, which has just been shortlisted for the 2023 Mercury Prize Album of the Year. An absolute icon and unstoppable force of funk, Jessie Ware will kick the crowd into high gear with her boogilicious set at Summer Camp.
Joining her will be DJ and all-around diva Trixie Mattel. Labelled by New York Magazine as one of the “most powerful drag queens in America”, the The Ru Paul’s Drag Race Allstars winner, musical artist and business tycoon can really do it all – and that includes spinning some fire tracks at camp.
With the venue locations and more artists set to be announced shortly, the festival is gearing up for its biggest and boldest year yet.
