Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a member of the Executive Group, the Head of Marketing will lead the strategic direction of marketing for Arts Centre Melbourne by providing expert advice achieving optimal returns on marketing investment. Responsible for leading, developing and inspiring a team delivering online, graphic design support and market research, you will work closely with relevant functions to plan and deliver on sales strategies and marketing campaigns. A key requirement will be your ability to establish productive and constructive relationships, including the Executives responsible for the creative and performing arts functions and industry promoters and presenters.

This is a broad and complex role requiring a person highly experienced in all facets of strategic and operational marketing, ideally gained from within a complex ‘multiple event’ arts or entertainment environment. A driven, self-starter you will be highly literate in strategic and tactical marketing initiatives, marketing analytics, customer experience management, and corporate business planning. Your track record will demonstrate success in converting marketing activity into commercial return. Strong leadership, resilience, and a highly consultative and influencing style will set you apart from others and enable your success in this critical role.
