Girl on Girl are heading to the Brunswick Ballroom for a killer show on December 10 supported by Merpire and Pollyman.
Named as one of the Top Rising Acts of 2021, Girl on Girl are known for their unique take on garage rock as well as their unforgettably electric live shows. A force to be reckoned with, Girl and Girl is a multigenerational outfit made up of Kai James with his Aunty Liss on drums, alongside guitarist Jayden Williams and bassist Fraser Bell.

Hot off the back of their support of Dry Cleaning’s sold out New Zealand and Australia tour, Girl on Girl are an act on a meteoric rise. Hailing from the sun-soaked Gold Coast, they were awarded the inaugural Gold Coast Music Prize and have since signed with Sundowner Management, who also manage Amyl and The Sniffers.
With the release of their sophomore EP, Divorce, Girl and Girl have been bringing their high energy garage rock shows across the country, including an in-store appearance at Record Paradise and an appearance at Bigsound Festival.

Merpire will join Girl and Girl in support of their appearance at the Brunswick Ballroom. A co-founder of the streaming festival ISOL-AID, which bought the vibrant Melbourne music to our bedrooms in lockdown, Merpire has just released her debut album Simulation Ride.
Also joining the evening’s stellar lineup is Pollyman. With a wildy exhilarating yet refreshingly local sound, Pollyman is the enigmatic solo project of George Carroll Wilson, who is also in Bones and Jones.
