Picket Palace were conceived in a sweaty loft apartment above a picket fence workshop in Brunswick, Picket Palace and the band crank. The group has built up a robust following and a reputation for fun live shows. In 2019 Picket Palace started selling out venues after launching their indie cult hit single ‘Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti’, a barnstorming, heart-pounding, head-banging tribute to the exhilarating football of the man they call ‘Walla’.

Picket Palace crank out razor-sharp punk belters and anxious, rambling reflections with an enthusiasm that is innocent, unpretentious and completely infectious. Urgent, punchy rhythms underpin distinctive, angular guitar lines and lyrics so honest and guileless that you’ll feel like the band have set your own half drunken conversations to music.

Tickets are free but you gotta register. Do so by heading here.
