Fairchild Republic : Villages

From the moment the drums kick in on Villages from Fairchild Republic’s debut EP it’s evident that it’s not really a song, in a sense; more of an epic. It’s inventive but gives a definite nod to late ’80s early ’90s pop. It doesn’t stop with the intensity throughout and although lacking in dynamics, it manages to keep up a raw energy that lacks in electronic indie rock. More? Yes please.
