Z-Star Delta have become well known for their energetic performances – the pair’s style has evolved into a modern mix of rich country blues and desert rock.
Gritty vocalist Zee Gachette has been compared to Nina Simone and Janis Joplin for her fusion of electric drumming and singing. Sebastian Heintz accompanies her on guitar, masterfully contributing to what is a huge sound for a two-piece.
To coincide with their fast approaching tour, they’ve just released their long-awaited debut EP. There’s also been talk of an exclusive Australian tour mixtape set to include live studio recordings.
Their Melbourne slot will include special guest appearances from Marz and Daniel Reeves.
