Community Arts Project Manager At Wild@heART Community Arts

wildatheart.jpg

Wild@heART Community Arts works with people with disability and people with mental illness to create social networks, skills, employment and community engagement through funky contemporary music, dance and video making.  We support songwriters, musicians, dancers, DJ’s, rock bands (Bipolar Bears), vocal groups (Wild Divas), hip hop crews and much more.

Reporting to the Artistic / Managing Director, the Program Manager will implement a portfolio of our existing community arts projects, and contribute to the development and funding of our future program.

The position works extensively with people with disabilities and people living with mental health issues.  Of high value is the Program Manager’s capacity to ensure that participants learn, participate, direct and have ownership of their own cultural expression through the projects.

You will be a passionate leader, a strategic thinker and a great networker.  You’ll also be a highly skilled project manager with a clear eye on the goal and fastidious attention to detail.

A background in the arts, and an understanding of the transformative power of community arts making is valuable.

For more information, please contact Artistic/Managing Director Phil Heuzenroeder at phil [@] wildatheart.org.au.
