Claire Bowditch And Jess McAvoy At The Zoo

Earth Hour Unplugged at Melbourne Zoo this year brings two of Melbourne’s favourite singers out in the dark.

After the resounding success of the last two Unplugged sessions at Melbourne Zoo the powers that be are bringing it back again this year with favourite daughters Claire Bowditch and Jess McAvoy set to take to the iconic Zoo bandstand for Earth Hour.

Tim Rogers  headlined last years Unplugged with help from The Wagons and fellow Melburnians Blackchords, meaning Claire and Jess have a high standard to work to, but with Claire Bowditch’s eight piece New Slang band backing her up, she won’t have any trouble there.

Earth Hour Unplugged  is in its third year at the Melbourne Zoo and it aims to bring attention to climate change and sustainable living while encouraging people to make a difference for not just Earth Hour, but the whole year.

Tickets for the March 26 show are on sale through  Melbourne Zoo  and limited sales at the gate.
