I’m sorry for sharing this news with you. I really, really am. I don’t mean to ruin your day. But unfortunately, dear reader, duty calls. And it’s my troublesome duty to inform you that Charlie Sheen is heading to Australia on a ‘speaking tour’.
What he’ll be speaking about, well, I’m not really sure. But none other than Australia’s own Richard Wilkins will be interviewing the Sheenster (what a dream team).
Sheen is allegedly in a serious amount of debt at the moment. According to news.com.au, Sheen can barely keep up with child support at the moment. On top of that, he reportedly has over $5 million in unpaid taxes for 2015 alone.
In any case, tickets to Sheen’s shows in Melbourne and Sydney are priced accordingly. Tickets start at $204.74 and range up to $1,495 — a ‘VIP’ experience that will score you a post-show meet-and-greet alongside an exclusive *gaps* ‘VIP Tour Laminate’.
What an absolute bargain. I’ll take two.
So there you have it, folks. If you’d like to drop nearly 1.5k to meet a man who not only starred in one of the worst TV shows of all time, but also has been investigated on multiple occasions for domestic violence — be my guest.
