What’s your name then? Oh. And the name of your band…
“Nicky Bomba, from Bomba.”
And what do you do?
“I sing, play guitar and drums, have fun with an audience and write songs. I like thinking too…”
When did you start doing that?
“When I was about six I started playing drums and started gigging with my brother in a band. Thinking started about two years before that.”
Why did you start doing that?
“It was the natural thing to do; musical household and good feelings when I played. Music is uplifting.”
Do you think you’re good at doing that?
“I think I’m good at bringing people together with music and raising the vibrations. I love the songs and grooves we play so I’m hoping the enjoyment translates. Love creating in the studio too.”
If you weren’t doing that, what would you be doing?
“Park ranger and obsessive thinker.”
What makes you happiest about what you’re doing?
“The joy it brings to an audience. When it’s right it’s amazing.”
And what makes you unhappiest about what you’re doing?
“Marketing the gigs/songs and spending time in the ‘office’.”
What’s your proudest moment of doing what you do?
“I think when people really connect with songs and the band. Lots of good vibrations that raise the spirit.”
And your least proud?
