He’s a man that has lived a thousand lives, a connoisseur and a curator, an aesthete and the ultimate modern artist, and he’s ready to offer himself and his finely crafted music to the general public. So what does the ultimate modern artist have in store for us? His debut album, of course.

Recorded in studios from multiple destinations around the world – everywhere from Sydney to the South of France, House Of Beni is the distillation of one young producers’ love of decades worth of dance music. But by no means can you expect this to be a “typical” dance record. In fact, according to the man behind the music, it would be hard to designate one single genre to define the album.

I didn’t want to make a noisy record or anything that could easily be put into a category,” he explains. “There are a lot of disco influences, but it’s not a disco record. And there’s house influences, but it’s not a house record. It’s like a tree – once you look at a branch, it leads to another, and another.” And what can make an already brilliant album even better? Guest appearances, of course. Erupting with dancefloor energy and finely crafted tunes, Beni’s collection of tracks on the record showcase the vocal talents of a vast array of talented guests from all walks of life, including Australia’s own Sam SparroIf you’re after an album that screams “intelligent dancefloor”, then this is the album for you!
