Melbourne heavy metal band Frankenbok have announced a series of Victorian shows, including rural dates in Frankston, Bendigo and Ballarat.

 

Frankenbok only just released their fifth album The End Of All You Know 2011, with this year marking the band's 15th birthday.

Ballarat quintet Gold Fields have just been announced as supports for Canadian pop outfit Metric, who are playing in Melbourne next week.

 

Earlier this year, Gold Fields took themselves off to Los Angeles, where they have recorded their debut album in with renowned producer Mickey Petralia, who has work with acts such as Beck and Ladytron.
