MELBOURNE’S 90’S ERA WINTER THROWBACK LOUNGE SERVES UP CHILDHOOD MEMORIES WITH A BOWL OF CEREAL
Ground Floor, Star Crescent, The District Docklands, Melbourne: Every weekend in August 2022

The ‘Throwback Lounge’ is landing at The District Docklands precinct. This winter pop-up is here for four weekends only and will have 90’s kids and families walking down memory lane with their favourite childhood snacks.
The venue promises a stunning custom cereal bar with over 30+ cereals from all over the world to taste and enjoy. Choose from kids sizes, single scoop bowls through to unlimited all-you-can-eat cereal for $39pp washed down with a glass of milk of your choice and accompanied with a wide selection of 90’s snacks such as the infamous pop-tarts, mac ‘n’ cheese, spaghetti jaffle and hot pockets just to name a few. If you weren’t allowed to indulge in some of these snacks as a kid… maybe this could be your moment to relive those years (whilst the kids believe it is for them!).

But attendees need not stop there, the lounge plays hosts to live PlayStation games, WII and Nintendo Switch. And as if that wasn’t enough for every gamer to get excited about, the venue has added in iconic arcade games from this era. So, if words like Daytona, Mario Kart, Initial D and Street Fighter sound like music to your ears, we know where you will be lounging around this winter.
The Winter ‘Throwback Lounge’ is here each Friday to Sunday for the month of August only and is available for private functions mid-week. It’s bound to catch the attention of the OG 90s kids, and the young Gen Z/Millennials in its ability to send everyone back in time to an unforgettable era where double denim and matching tracksuit sets were a vibe.

Make sure to check out the event schedule of what’s on every weekend as the pop-up also has additional entertainment days filled with dance crew showcases, sneakers paint ‘n’ sip sessions and live music events.
The event is family-friendly and open to all ages.
