What’s on the horizon for Horizon.

Sunshine Coast’s Horizon Festival has unveiled its 2019 program, set to kick off late next month. The program packs a massive itinerary of art, music, tech, film and more into a tight ten days.

Notable highlights on this year’s program include works and performances from Victorian singer-songwriter Alice Skye, Jack Charles, Jody Haines, Tommy Little, Dave Hughes and more. Punters can also expect to see daring circus shows from Flipside Circus and a 32-part choir performance inspired by the trajectory of the stars.

Horizon will also be home to the Aussie premiere of Rude Mechs’ The Cold Record, a one-man show that tells the story of a 12-year-old boy on a quest to break the record for the most sick days at school.

Horizon Festival runs between Friday August 23 and Sunday September 1 over on the Sunshine Coast. For more info and tickets, check out the festival website.
