The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and The Espy have teamed up for a stand up comedy summer series.

After a long, lonely winter, the iconic Gershwin Room is bursting back to life with four Sundays of jam-packed comedy showcases for fully vaxed Melburnians.

Starring some of Melbourne’s most exciting up-and-comers, it’s a chance to get out of the house for some beachside laughs.

  • Times: 5.30pm & 7.15pm Duration: 60 mins
  • Venue: Hotel Esplanade, 11 The Esplanade, St Kilda

Over four Sundays in November and December, a wide variety of stand up comics will get back up on stage where they belong.

The season kicks off on Sunday 28 November and features Melanie Bracewell, Sami Shah, Ethan Cavanagh, Prue Blake and more to be announced.

Past seasons have featured the likes of Harley Breen, Anne Edmonds, Randy Feltface, Geraldine Hickey, Tom Gleeson and Dilruk Jayasinha.

The season sold-out season last year and has strictly limited seating. All tickets cost $30 plus booking fee and include one drink per person (spirits not included).

The shows are also 18+ only and patrons must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of entry.
