It’s considered “normal” within our society, but how much have we truly delved into depression? Playwright, Tracey Mathers, challenges you to not turn away and be one of those who perpetuate the negative stigma associated with depression in her latest work, Surfacing.
Finding a solution to the illness herself, Tracey encourages those in pain to speak out and find theirs. Assisting her with her Surfacing journey will be VCA graduate Kane Felsinger, BAPA graduate Sarah Hamilton and National Theatre graduate JR Richards, whilst VCA graduate Nathan Gilkes will direct the confronting and honest piece.
Jump on the emotional rollercoaster, and see things through Tracey’s eyes.Surfacing will head to Studio 246 from May 30 – June 3, 6 – 9.
