Rob Brydon to make his Australian debut

The comedy great is heading Down Under next year.

Welsh actor and comedian Rob Brydon, who you may recognise from television shows like QI and Would I Lie To You? and movies such as Shaun of the Dead and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels will be making his Australian debut when he brings his stand up to Australia next year.

Despite his impressive list of on-screen appearances, stand-up is Brydon's forte -- something which he'll be proving in spades with his latest routine, I Am Standing Up. Delivering everything from ad-lib banter with the audience to impressions of Tom Jones, Bill Clinton and the likes, Brydon is bound to have Australian crowds clutching their sides on his upcoming tour.

Brydon's six-date Australian stand-up tour will see him filling revered venues from Brisbane's QPAC Concert Hall to The Sydney Opera house, visiting Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra in between.

Catch Rob Brydon on Saturday March 23 at Palais Theatre, Melbourne. Tickets are on sale from 2pm Friday July 20 or 12pm July 18 until for Live Nation members.
