Road Movie
Midsumma is the festival that just keeps on giving, does it not? Amongst the plethora of films that will be available for viewing at the event will be Road Movie.
Simultaneously heart breaking and hilarious, this hour-long Australian premiere is queer theatre at its finest. With a charismatic solo performance by Melbourne newcomer Dirk Hoult, this compelling one man show tells a tale of love, loss and letting go, set in mid-90s America at the height of the AIDS crisis.
Rough yet romantic, Road Movie will make its Australian debut at Midsumma Festival on Tuesday January 24.
